CATUABA

Catuaba (Animopaegma mirandum) is a hardwood tree that is native to the Amazon rainforest. The bark of the Catuaba tree has been used for centuries by rainforest tribes who call it the 'Tree of Love' or the 'Tree of Togetherness' and have composed many songs in praise of its properties. It is traditionally used in combination with Muira Puama for its aphrodisiac properties. 

MUIRA PUAMA

Also known as 'potency wood', Muira Puama (Ptychopetalum olacoides) is a small tree native to the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. The root and bark are rich in EFA's, plant sterols, and a new alkaloid named Muirapuamine. It has a long history of traditional use in Brazilian herbal medicine as well as in England, where it is still listed in the British Herbals Pharmocopoeia.  

DAMIANA

Damiana (Turnera aphrodisiaca) was used as an aphrodisiac by the ancient Mayans, and for over a century it has been used by modern populations of both central and South America as way of reducing nervous tension, and encouraging a positive frame of mind.

MACA

Maca (Lepidium Meyenii) is a root vegetable grown high in the Peruvian Andes. For hundreds of years native Peruvians have used Maca for its ability to increase energy and stamina and, more popularly, for its effectiveness as an aphrodisiac.
